Lot Title:
1884 PCGS PF-67CAM.
Description:
Gus Johnson Proof Collection. 19 graded PF-67 CAM, none higher at PCGS. An electrifying coin, both sides offer exceedingly bright contrast that seems very close to deep-cameo caliber, though shallow portions of the design suffer slight attenuation of the rich, frothy matte texture. From a technical standpoint, this dime has been handled with exceptional care and shows neither hairlines nor abrasions anywhere, not even on the rims. Struck with deep precision, the reverse seems to be detailed to the extreme, with every single delicate vein completely brought up for all the leaves. A remarkable and memorable proof type coin for the enthusiast. (PCGS# 084781)
