Lot Title:
Four certified Indian quarter eagles, three PCGS, one NGC, all UNC.
Description:
Barbara U'Dell Gold Collection. The first three are in PCGS green-label holders, and list quickly as follows: 1912 (MS-61, probably with puttied surfaces responsible for the widespread lime-green toning that is still strangely intriguing), 1915 (MS-62, curious peppermint-blue toning on the high points), and 1929 (MS-61, extremely rich, deeply vivid and heavily saturated golden patina and splashes of sky-blue). NGC has graded the lone 1913 (MS-62, terrific strike and lovely two-toned original surfaces). Four coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
