Lot Title:

Nine different dates certified Franklin half-dollars. Five PCGS, four NGC.
|
Description:
|
Mike Wrinkle Collection. All different dates comprise this grouping, and together, they make for an impressive, lustrous display of pristine, white half-dollars. Grades are carefully focused within a single point's tolerance, although a few warrant special attention for sharp strikes. The coins are listed as follows: 1951-S (NGC MS-65), 1953-D (PCGS MS-64 FBL), 1953-S (PCGS MS-65), 1955 (PCGS MS-64, "bugs bunny" should have been designated), 1956 (PCGS MS-65 FBL), 1957-D (PCGS MS-65 FBL), 1958-D (NGC MS-64), 1961 (NGC MS-64), and 1962 (NGC MS-65). The core of about one-fourth of a very nice collection in this nine coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
