Lot Title:

Seven Proof Washington quarters. Three NGC and four PCGS.
|
Description:
|
Mike Wrinkle Collection. Stunning quality manifests as exceptionally high grades for this group, with NGC providing some desirable designations. The first three are NGC-certified, including 1956 (PF-68 "star"), 1957 (PF-69 "star"), and another 1957 (PF-68 "star"). The PF-69 "star" is oh-so-close to being an astounding treasure, with a full, rich deep cameo obverse paired against a slightly cameo reverse. PCGS provides the rest of the grades for coins listed as follows: 1961 (PF-68), 1962 (Pf-67, but the obverse shows devastating DCAM contrast), 1963 (PF-68, the obverse is CAM), and 1964 (PF-68). Fabulous visual appeal in this seven coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
