Lot Title:
1914 $100.00 Chicago Red Seal. XF.
Description:
Fr# 1078. This is an extremely rare 1914 red-seal $100 that has to grade at least XF-40. The note has been carefully pressed and exhibits much original crispness, along with lovely margins and sharp corners. A modest fold at the upper left corner may bar any "choice" consideration, but for the grade, the new owner will be pleased to enjoy bright color and deep black ink.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

1914 $100.00 Kansas City. Red Seal. F.

Fr-1081A. This scarce high denomination Red Seal on Kansas City is a borderline VF note. Its red overprint ink remains strong, and the margins are full. Perhaps the best part is that this note is... |
