(About The Images)
Eighteen certified Morgan dollars. Eighteen certified Morgan dollars.
Lot Title: Eighteen certified Morgan dollars.
Description: The majority are in older holders, every coin shows a grade of MS-64, and clearly, toned coins were the emphasis for this group, with only some duplication of dates. The coins list quickly as follows: 1879-S (rattler, mesmerizing paper roll tone), 1880-S (rattler, chrome-white with dark accents), 3x 1881-S (two in older holders, and all sparkling with moderate tone), 3x 1884-O (one rattler, two NGC aqua label no-line but one slab is damaged), 2x 1885-O (one rattler, one old blue-label, both coins moderately sulfur-toned), 2x 1886 (NGC aqua label no-line with gorgeous pumpkin-gold, one modern MS-64+ PCGS holder), 1887 (old blue PCGS holder, mottled tone), 1898 (NGC aqua no-line, bathed in beige-grey tone), 1899-O (NGC, lightly grey toned), 1900-O (rattler, dense patina), and 2x 1904-O (green-label PCGS, light golden-tan, and an old blue-label with fantastic ocean-blue color). Eighteen coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
