Lot Title:
1936-D San Diego, 1936-D Texas, and 1937 Antietam, all NGC MS-66.
Description:
Quite a few commemorative half-dollars appear in this sale, and most of them come from a collector who generally preferred white presentation. No doubt about it here, these are bright, lustrous pieces in this particular trio, at least when viewed from the obverse. Each coin offers no noticeable faults, but the San Diego has taken on some enticing magenta-gold toning across the reverse, unlike its fully white companions. Three coin lot.
