(About The Images)
1915 PCGS MS-64, and a 1916 NGC MS-64. 1915 PCGS MS-64, and a 1916 NGC MS-64.
Lot Title: 1915 PCGS MS-64, and a 1916 NGC MS-64.
Description: Realistically, PCGS and NGC grade buffalo nickels just about the same way, and these are easily comparable at MS-64. 1915 shows steadfast silver-white brilliance, exquisite sharpness and luster that would seem to warrant an even higher grade. The 1916 also features very attractive luster, and benefits from a fragile layer of russet-gold patina over both sides. Premier quality for the same grade in this two coin lot.

MS-64 is the certified grade given each of these earlier Philadelphia buffalo nickels. 1915 is a luminous pale yellow beauty with semi-prooflike tendencies, certified by PCGS. The 1917, graded by...

1915 PCGS PF-65.
This magnificent specimen housed in a first generation holder looks massively undergraded by today's standards. The coin is brilliant with a hint of color. The surfaces are unmarred by any...
