Lot Title:
1836 ANACS MS-62 BN.
Description:
This cent is housed in a new style ANACS holder and appears to have MS-65 surfaces if not for the two short scratches that keep it in the select to choice grade range. A cud is noted at the 12:30 position obverse. The reverse is definitely PQ for the grade. Nice early copper like this is very difficult to find at any reasonable level.

Popularity of N-6 stems from the cud on the obverse rim 1:00, which also leads to simple attribution. The reverse is startlingly bright despite being golden-brown overall, offering marvelous... |
