(About The Images)
1921 NGC MS-66. 1921 NGC MS-66.
Lot Title: 1921 NGC MS-66.
Description: 537 graded MS-66, 7 higher. 1921 will usually evoke groans from collectors as one of THE most common dates in the entire Morgan silver dollar compendium, but look at the population census and notice how few have achieved a grade of MS-67. Very few! Indeed, even at MS-66, this is one of the more underrated coins in the Morgan dollar series. Utterly gorgeous mother-of-pearl luster dominates the positive attributes for this coin, tinged everywhere by beige-white patina and a trivial splash of melon-gold toning on the rims. Get a nice, affordable coin like this and let someone else spend all the money on an MS-67. (PCGS# 007296)

1921 NGC MS-66.
Given its deserved reputation as THE most common Morgan dollar, 1921 isn't even close to the radar as a tougher date ... until one reaches MS-66 and above. Fantastic, shimmering satin-white luster...
962The Collectors' Auction - 2014 on 10/17/2014$380.00
1921 NGC MS-66.
Utterly untoned and alabaster-white overall, the surface quality exceeds even the stringent expectations for the gem grade, leading to NGC's premium MS-66 assessment. Beautifully struck and...

1921 (VAM-1, Zerbe Dies) PCGS MS-62.
Possibly the Zerbe dies? The consignor originally brought this coin to us in a SEGS holder that indicated a VAM-1 attribution (as well as a grade of MS-63). SEGS further stated "OBVERSE/REVERSRE...
827The Collectors' Auction 2012 on 10/05/2012$425.00
1921 NGC MS-66.
Viewed as "very common" in grades right up through MS-64, the 1921 Morgan dollar is surprisingly elusive at the GEM level and above. Here is an extremely white example graded MS-66 by NGC. Only...
749The Midwest Summer Sale 2012 on 07/27/2012$825.00
Twenty 1921 Morgan dollars.
Generic rolls of Morgan dollars are often filled with ugly coins, but these were obvious picked out for having finer surfaces than usual. The average grade should easily be MS-62 if not better, with...
931The Midwest Summer Sale 2011 on 07/29/2011$400.00
Three 1921 NGC MS-65.
The 1921 is not so easy to find in GEM quality as one might think, yet price guides do and always have shown practically bullion value for this issue in MS-65. Here is a trio of dollars graded MS-65...
758The Collectors' Auction 2008 on 10/17/2008$475.00
1921 NGC MS-66.
From the standpoint of contact marks or other such mechanical blemishes, there is no doubt that this final date Morgan dollar has been carefully preserved. Numerous toning accents on each side...
