Lot Title:
1918-D 8 OVER 7. PCGS VF-25.
Description:
Considerable luster belies the low VF-25 grade, and this coin benefits from the presence of attractive ice-blue patina, subtly distributed over the protected surface areas. Only the tip of the horn has been worn away, leaving all other major features intact, and LIBERTY stands bold and prominent, well removed from the rim. Note one single contact mark anywhere requires notice, and of course, the overdate feature is just as bold as can be. (PCGS# 003939)
