125 graded MS-64, 127 higher. Common dates abound in the Indian eagle series, but as the PCGS population suggests, 1912-S commands a premium at the MS-62 level, and starts to become quite expensive in higher grades. This example features straw-gold patina with a splash of grapefruit toning in the lower obverse left field. A couple of stray marks visit Liberty's cheek and determine the grade. (PCGS# 008872)
