This is a lovely brown example of a nice Red Book Washington Piece. This token was produced by British merchants to facilitate the need for small change since the Crown was not issuing any ennoble base metal coins at the time. Very difficult to locate in new condition, especially certified, this is a nice opportunity to acquire a contemporary Washington piece.
