Lot Title:
Two Buffalo Nickels. PCGS.
Description:
A 1921-S PCGS MS-62 and a 1926-S PCGS F-15, each semi-key dates from this popular series. The 1921-S exhibits glistening silver-gray surfaces that are embellished with mingling blue and rose highlights. The strike is a bit stronger than typically observed for this date. A couple die flaws are noted, one on the obverse and one on the reverse, near the rims at 3:30. The 1926-S has the lowest regular mintage recorded for this type, with 970,000 struck. Its original antique silver aspect is quite handsome for this grade level.
