Lot Title:
1874 PCGS PF-65 CAC, and an 1882 PCGS MS-65.
Description:
Representing both formats for striking of shield nickels, this GEM pair provides outstanding eye-appeal for the type collector. 1874 grades PCGS PF-65 CAC and shows off ideal, pristine nickel-chrome surface color, allowing for easy appreciation of very sharp details. Neither side displays any measurable cameo effect, replaced instead by electrifying silvery luster. 1882 easily meets PCGS standards for MS-65, exhibiting lustrous chrome brilliance and fantastic energy. There is no doubt that it's a gem every time, with strong details and generally problem-free surfaces. A well matched duo in this two coin lot.
