Lot Title:
Ten different UNC Buffalo nickels, all NGC certified.
Description:
While all are in better UNC grades, this group of buffalo nickels still hits a "sweet spot" for most collectors, since their individual values don't enter the stratosphere. Every coin is in a fresh, new NGC EdgeView holder, with the coins briefly listed as follows: 1913 type-1 (MS-64, has a nice die clash), 1913-D type-1 (MS-64, satin-gold tone, light die crack at obverse far right), 1916 (MS-64, trivial obverse carbon spots), 1917 (MS-63, citrus-orange streaks), 1920 (MS-64, marvelous luster), 1928 (MS-64, flat with some obverse flyspecks), 1928-D (MS-63, a bit flat), 1929-D (MS-63, pale iridescence), 1931-S (MS-65, very original), and 1934-D (MS-64, a bit flat, die crack through mintmark). Ten coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
