Lot Title:
1895-O NGC MS-63 (no line).
Description:
A huge, deep, thick pile of magenta-bronze patina dominates the character of this better date quarter, ensuring the maximum possible amount of original quality that can be condensed onto a coin this size. Velvety tone still manages to reflect excellent luster in spite of the layer of patina, with potent cartwheel effect emerging from between the peripheral lettering. Rather nicely struck, the grade derives from several contact marks on the cheek. (PCGS# 005611)
