(About The Images)
1918-S PCGS MS-64FH CAC. 1918-S PCGS MS-64FH CAC.
Lot Title: 1918-S PCGS MS-64FH CAC.
Description: Very pretty light golden patina filters across unblemished surfaces, but doesn't overcome the luster to any unfavorable extent. Liberty's head is finely embellished, while the shield has the usual two weak rivets. A slender die crack penetrates the date, and in a later die-state would be responsible for weak digits, but this coin was struck at the point where strong numerals were still present. Rather attractive for MS-64 (FH). (PCGS# 005725)
Low Estimate: $3,100.00
High Estimate: $3,400.00

417The Collectors' Auction 2010 on 10/15/2010$2,800.00
1918/7-S PCGS F-15.
While fairly reasonable in value at the Fine level and below, higher grade examples of 1918/17-S become substantially more expensive, and for many collectors, an F-15 coin will serve quite well in...
418The Collectors' Auction 2010 on 10/15/2010$9,500.00
1918/7-S PCGS AU-55.
Prodigious luster must have been present when this overdate quarter was struck, because a commendable portion of the surface still retains cartwheel effect, and this despite light remnants of toning...
649The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$11,750.00
1918/7-S PCGS AU-55.
Extensive mint luster provides much of the appeal of an uncirculated piece, though wear is just beginning to show on Liberty's shin and lower thigh. A good strike probably delivered close to full...
650The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$650.00
1918-S PCI MS-64 FH.
Brazen, full head details are about as bold and as strong as your cataloger has ever seen on a 1918-S Standing Liberty quarter. Sculpted in full-blown three dimensional detail, the hair is defined...
459The Collectors' Auction 2008 on 10/17/2008$2,600.00
1918/7-S VF.
In your cataloger's experience, the most reliable diagnostic of a genuine overdate Standing Liberty quarter is the presence of a small tine that projects upward from the top of the "1" in the date,...
1072The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$3,500.00
1918/17-S XF-40.
A tough overdate to obtain, regardless of grade. This example has strong XF details, but the surfaces are a little odd, and the reverse has some light porosity. Even so, this coin is worthy of a...
1294The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$13,750.00
1918/17-S SEGS MS-61 FH Cleaned/Retoned.
This coin is tougher than the 1916 in Uncirculated condition. The one offered here has an amazing strike, but it has unfortunately has been cleaned. Yes, at some point in time someone cleaned this...
