A traditional "short set" contains dimes dated 1941 through 1945, but many collectors extend the scope in order to increase the challenge of creating a complete collection, and then, 1934 - 1945 is a favorite range of dates. This group of blazing, brilliant superb GEMs will form a strong foundation for such a collection. Every single piece is graded MS-67 FB by NGC, and nearly all exude strong, white brilliance save 1941, which is lightly toned. The dates of 1937-S, 1940, 1940-D, 1941, 1941-D, 1941-S, 1943-D, and 1944-D are included in this eight coin lot.
