Four certified Seated type coins. Dollar, half-dollar, quarter, and dime. Four certified Seated type coins. Dollar, half-dollar, quarter, and dime.
Lot Title: Four certified Seated type coins. Dollar, half-dollar, quarter, and dime.
Description: Seated type coins comprise this quartet, all representing different denominations. An 1860-O dollar (PCGS VF-30) displays dove-beige patina on the obverse and iron-grey on the reverse and has earned CAC accolades, although some interesting patchy corrosion beneath "ONE" bears noting. It could possibly represent minor planchet deficiency prior to being struck. An 1859 half (PCGS AU-53) retains considerable detail, with suitable luster and also surprisingly bright surfaces. Next is an 1838 quarter (NGC XF-45) bearing nicer rim tone and a touch of luster, and the lot concludes with an 1879 dime (NGC MS-61 PL) that has attractive frost on the devices and mildly reflective fields. Four coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
