1867 w/ Rays. NGC MS-63. 1867 w/ Rays. NGC MS-63.
Lot Title: 1867 w/ Rays. NGC MS-63.
Description: Flatly struck as usual for the type, with noticeable die cracks on the obverse attesting to dies that wore out quickly in trying to strike these tough old nickel planchets. On a positive note, each side displays unusually bright sky-blue patina near the outer areas, adding nice three-dimensional effect to the presentation. (PCGS# 003791)
