Lot Title:
1853 w/ Arrows NGC MS-62, and an uncertified 1858 MS-62.
Description:
An extraordinary degree of original patina layers the 1853 "arrows" half-dime (NGC MS-62), and many collectors will deem the effect too dark for mainstream tastes, but those who value extreme originality will love this coin. Accompanying is an 1858 half-dime, not certified but certainly within range of the MS-62 level as well, and it offers some attractive toning in the fields, along with chartreuse coloration nearer the rims. Two coin lot.
