(About The Images)
Four Saint-Gaudens, all PCGS MS-62 (rattler). Four Saint-Gaudens, all PCGS MS-62 (rattler).
Lot Title: Four Saint-Gaudens, all PCGS MS-62 (rattler).
Description: MS-62 can be a highly variable grade in any gold series, and bidders will find strengths and weaknesses in this nicer group. 1924 has exquisite sharpness and fairly mark-free surfaces, while 1926 has an extremely sharp strike, but quite a few more contact marks by comparison. Keeping with the theme, one 1928 also displays a terrific strike but some chippy marks and linear abrasions on the eagle, while the other has an incredibly sharp strike that borders on absolute fullness, but this coin has abrasions offsetting upgrade consideration. Four coin lot.
