Lot Title:
1876 PCGS PF-64CAM.
Description:
Iron-beige patina delivers a light touch of sky-blue toning nearer the peripheral design elements on either side, producing a rather memorable appearance. Combine this with gentle cameo effect and one has a very decent coin to represent America's centennial year. Some minor obverse carbon spots might be the cause of the PF-64 numeric grade level. 1876 P01, Plate coin. At arm's length, a lively, brilliant coin with mild streaky golden grey toning on each side. Closer inspection shows that the NGC PF-65 grade is oblivious to two scratches in... |
