Description:

1902 $5.00 Serial number 1. Scarce red seal with serial number 1! An interesting note all the way around, top and bottom edges were trimmed off-parallel, resulting in carryover of a tiny slice of design from the neighboring notes. Strong signatures, especially the president's deep black pen. Also included is a fascinating postcard stamped OCT 8 1912 with faded writing. The postcard depicts a nice shot of the Citizen's National Bank of Brazil, Indiana. Great lot!
