Lot Title:
Collection of Buffalo nickels in a Dansco 7112 album.
Description:
Heavily upgraded, the majority display very strong details in the VF/XF range, with full horns galore. Minor cleaning can be seen on a few coins, but by and large these are excellent original coins with no problems. Highlights are numerous and help indicate the overall quality, with notable coins like: 1913-D type-2 (AU), 1913-S type-2 (AU). 1914-D (VF/cleaned), 1915-S (VF), 1918-D (XF/cleaned), 1918-S (VF), 1919-D (VF), 1919-S (VF), 1920-D (VF), 1920-S (VF), and 1921-S (VF). Also included are a 1938-D/S, and a 1938-D/D, and the 1938-D itself displays gorgeous rainbow toning.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
