Description:

War nickels with full steps took a sudden jump in popularity at the recent FUN show. Here is a nice group of pieces certified by PCGS, with dates tallied as follows: 1x 1942-P (die clash), 3x 1943 (one has streaky tone), 4x 1943-D, 7x 1943-S (two have rouge-gold overtones), 3x 1944-P , 5x 1944-D (all have gold wash toning), and 4x 1945-P. For reasons unknown, many of these slabs have light damage on the back, as if stacked too tightly then abruptly shaken during shipping. Twenty-seven coin lot.
