Lot Title:
1855-O Arrows XF, 1859-O VF/scratched, and an 1875-S AU details/corroded/cleaned.
Description:
1855-O may prove to be a little too dark for some collectors, but the appearance is reasonable, albeit lacking in luster, and dominated by navy-blue tone. 1859-O will also seem tolerable at first glance, with slate and bone-grey patina, but closer examination discovers a plethora of tiny scratches crisscrossing in the fields, as well as slight microporosity. Finally, 1875-S displays plenty of luster very close to the AU level, but three dark spots validate as corrosion upon investigation. Three coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
