(About The Images)
1929 MS-64. 1929 MS-64.
Lot Title: 1929 MS-64.
Description: Absolutely problem-free surfaces display roving luster and plenty of original champagne-tan patina, accented with crumbs of walnut-gold alongside much of the rims. A "full head" designation is extremely tempting, but it appears as if one singular tiny contact mark coincidentally rests right atop the ear hole, making the decision too close to call. (PCGS# 005772)

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

480The Collectors' Auction - 2014 on 10/17/2014$310.00
1929 PCGS MS-64.
Brock Megran Collection. Scalding white-hot luster detonates the eye-appeal for this near-miss gem, and sharpness may be an earhole away from the coveted FH designation. If only every MS-64 looked...
666The Midwest Summer Sale 2011 on 07/29/2011$1,150.00
1929 NGC MS-66+ FH.
The trouble spot for late-date Standing Liberty quarters is at the two lower left rivets on the shield, and they are missing for this coin that is otherwise nicely struck and definitely compliant with...
434The Collectors' Auction 2010 on 10/15/2010$340.00
1929 PCGS MS-64FH.
Luster and strike are certainly well within bounds of an upgrade, and off-white patina suggests a high degree of vintage quality. Therefore, it must be presumed that small ticks and minor blemishes...
399The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$575.00
1929 NGC MS-65 FH.
Highly lustrous and nearly fully brilliant, with just a smattering of delicate paper toning in isolated portions across the obverse. While the strike was clearly potent enough to produce full head...
351The Collectors' Auction 2009 on 10/16/2009$525.00
1929 NGC MS-65 FH.
A blazing gem that displays sharp details, with some weakness seen at the shield.
1324The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$370.00
1929 MS-64++ FH.
A copious lilac iridescence bedecks this piece's frosty surfaces. A bold Full Head is observed with just a slight softness on the shield's rivet detailing. A light array of speckles are noted for...
565The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/17/2006$250.00
1929 MS-63.
This specimen's shimmering, lustrous surfaces are enhanced with a charming golden blush. A scant number of microscopic specks are noted on the reverse. The strike is overall bold, with just a slight...
