Rose-orange patina dominates the hue, occasioned by traces of lovely lime-gold iridescence in the fields. There is no mistaking the original, blazing luster, which takes advantage of contact-free surfaces. The portrait displays merely a couple of incidental ticks on the central and forward cheek. Sharp strike quality is readily gauged by four strong, full diamonds. (PCGS# 002186)
