Quality varies considerably, with some well worn and cleaned coins denoting the lower end, and several Choice BU coins forming the high end of eye-appeal. Better pieces can be listed as: 1878-CC (MS-63), 1879-CC (VG/cleaned), 1880-CC (VG and nice), 1881-CC (F/cleaned), 1882-CC (AU/dipped), 1883-C (MS-62), 1884-CC (AU/cleaned), 1885-CC (AG), 1885-S (MS-60/obverse lightly cleaned), 1886-S (AU-53+), 1889-CC (Fine), and 1890-CC (AU/artificial prooflike surfaces). The album is completely populated, with no missing coins from 1878 through 1890-S.
