Lot Title: Two 1937-D and a 1938-D Oregon, all PCGS MS-66 (rattler).
Description: Saint Joseph (St. Joe to those who live there) is the largest city in northwestern Missouri, about forty miles north of Kansas City, and it served as the starting point for those embarking on the 2000 mile trek along the Oregon Trail. Here is a trio of Oregon Trail half-dollars that commemorate the four to six month journey, all graded MS-66 by PCGS. One 1937-D displays chartreuse color on the entire obverse and most of the reverse, while the other 1937-D has classic iron-grey patina. The 1938-D is close to being fully brilliant, as it is only gently layered with pale grey patina. Three coin lot.
