Lot Title:
|
1880 $10.00. Small Seal. XF.
|
Description:
|
Fr. 113. The look is all that of an UNC at a quick first glance, but only a little closer inspection discovers that the note has been lightly pressed. A couple of corners display faint wear, and the top margin is a little tight on the front.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Fr# 113. Gorgeous 1880 legal tender that would be fully "gem" if not for a tight bottom margin. Daniel Webster's stern portrait is on the left, and on the right is a vignette of "Pocahontas being... |

1880 $10.00. Small Seal. XF.

Fr. 111. Small Seal. Remnants of creasing are evident for this scarce 1880 legal-tender, but it has been pressed and faces up well. Very close to XF in spite of light staining on the back. |
