Lot Title:
1896 NGC PF-66 CAMEO.
Description:
An astounding, blazing GEM, the eye-appeal could fill up a bourse floor with numismatic eye-appeal, not to mention gleaming pure-white brilliance. It is amazing that these technical aspirations could be so lofty, considering the strike did not fully bring up all the details, and that in spite of proof format! Two or three stars on the obverse did not get fully struck up, though the balance of overall sharpness is terrific. Traces of barely visible gold flecks may be seen across much of the reverse, but there is not much toning anywhere aside from that. (PCGS# 083894)

A trio of sparkling jewels, all these proof Liberty nickels are certified as PF-65 by PCGS, and they each offer a blush of molten gold toning overall. 1896 is exquisitely detailed, and 1903 is also... |

Impressive rose highlights complement this delightful proof specimen. Its fields are satiny and rather reflective. A few speckles are perceived on the lower reverse beneath "T" and "S" of "CENTS." |

Incandescent rainbow hues really give this coin an exquisite look. The fields are super deep, and the devices are frosty. |
