This round Liberty Head California Fractional Half Dollar, BG-1029, Rarity-4+, was struck by California Jewelry Co. with a Plain Edge. It is somewhat prooflike with pale yellow surfaces. Slight weakness on the fourth star and central reverse are noted. Prior to this piece, NGC had graded only one other specimen. It is designated as AU-58.
