Lot Title:
Twenty uncirculated 1941-D Walking Liberty half dollars.
Description:
Like it's San Francisco counterpart, 1941-D tends to come with less sharpness than P-mint coins, but there appears to be several above-average pieces included here. This is likely a put-together tube, because there is variance in the appearance of the edges of some coins, and several have splashes of tone. Grades appear to be in the MS-63 range overall, with a couple of stragglers on either side of that price point. Twenty coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
