Lot Title:
Complete set of Barber half-dollars in Library of Coins Vol. 17 & 18 albums.
Description:
Pale ivory-grey surfaces match up extremely well across both volumes for this Barber half-dollar collection, but evidence of subtle cleaning or mild surface issues can be detected for some pieces. Details are between AG-3 and Fine-12 for every single coin. Several notable coins are included, such as: 1892-O (G/AG), 1892-S (perfect Fine, except for a single dig on the "8" of the date), 1893-O (AG), 1893-S (G), 1896-S (G/AG+), 1897-O (VG/very slightly bent), 1897-S (VG/lightly corroded/cleaned), 1902-S (Fine), 1913 (VG), 1914 (Good+), and 1915 (VG+). Seventy-three coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
