(About The Images)
1835 (B-6 R.3) AU/lightly cleaned and 1835 (B-7 R.2) XF/lightly cleaned. 1835 (B-6 R.3) AU/lightly cleaned and 1835 (B-7 R.2) XF/lightly cleaned.
Lot Title: 1835 (B-6 R.3) AU/lightly cleaned and 1835 (B-7 R.2) XF/lightly cleaned.
Description: Details are comparable between these 1835 quarters, although one has just enough finer detail to attain technical AU sharpness. Unfortunately, light cleaning affects each piece to modest degree. B-6 is the higher graded coin, with more luster on the reverse than the obverse, and is easy to attribute from nice, thin die cracks on both sides. B-7 can be quickly identified by the extremely close proximity of the final star to the curl, and the cleaning is only slight in this case. Neither coin is the least bit offensive to the eye, and both would perform suitably in a set of sharply defined bust quarters. Two coin lot. (PCGS# 005354)

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
