Lot Title:
1939 PCGS PF-67 (green label).
Description:
Misty haze is just light enough that it does not interfere with appreciation of the brilliant, proof surface texture. Still, one cannot help but wonder how dazzling this superb gem was prior to becoming toned. A slight hint of golden color occupies the obverse upper right field, but there are no distractions of any kind to be found anywhere. Housed in a PCGS green-label holder. (PCGS# 005978)
