(About The Images)
1889 NGC PF-63. 1889 NGC PF-63.
Lot Title: 1889 NGC PF-63.
Description: Opaque salmon-orange and cobalt iridescence occupies the entire obverse, and a less dense version of these same colors prevails across the reverse. At first glance, this could be mistaken for a high quality business strike, in part due to some weakness across the upper third of the obverse. But, the rims are properly squared off, and reflectivity stubbornly shines through the thick patina. (PCGS# 004786)
