Lot Title:
1906-O NGC MS-61.
Description:
Though valued the same as any common gold eagle in most grades, 1906-O is far less commonly seen than the late-date Philly coins. Obverse sharpness seen on this particular example is a little soft, as is usually expected from New Orleans. Bag friction interrupts the obverse flowline luster near the center of the fields, but the reverse is fully brilliant and lustrous. (PCGS# 008761)
