(About The Images)
1910-S PCGS MS-63 CAC. 1910-S PCGS MS-63 CAC.
Lot Title: 1910-S PCGS MS-63 CAC.
Description: At the basic UNC level and below, there is little to distinguish 1910-S from the plethora of common Indian eagle in existence, but a much different story plays out at the MS-63 grade. Review of value guides suggest that it becomes one of the scarce issues at that grade, and indeed, PCGS has given the grade to only 84 coins, with merely 30 graded higher, and that out of a healthy original mintage of 811,000! The value doubles in MS-64. This example is slightly above average for the MS-63 level, with only a single mark on Liberty's cheek, while other contact marks tend to fringe on the main focal area. Luster revolves in enticing fashion, and nicely complements the original beige-gold patina. (PCGS# 008867)
