Lot Title:
Set of Barber dimes 1892 through 1916-S in a Whitman 9412 album.
Description:
Here is a good example of what is typically meant by a set of coins in "average circulated" condition. Some are as low as Fair, and a few display egregious signs of cleaning, with interesting color acquired from subsequent album storage. Details go as high as XF, but in most cases, better detailed coins are also the most heavily cleaned. A few sample coins graded for DETAILS ONLY include: 1895-O (Fair), 1895-S (G), 1896-O (AG), 1896-S (AG), 1897-O (G/bent), 1901-S (G), 1903-S (G), 1904-S (G), and 1913-S (G). Housed in a in a beat-up Whitman album.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
