(About The Images)
1886 (VAM-4) NGC MS-67. 1886 (VAM-4) NGC MS-67.
Lot Title: 1886 (VAM-4) NGC MS-67.
Description: VAM-4, with a nice extra serif on the "1" in the date and minute die lines above the eyelid. Charisma exudes considerable allure and charm, beginning with a strike that is unbelievably sharp on both sides. Right down to the most minute separation in the three hair strands above the ear and the separation of the eagle's claws from the other segments in the talons, definition could not be more complete on any Morgan dollar. Liberty's cheek is virtually pristine. A benefit of such an energetic strike is the profusion of cartwheel luster spinning around both sides like a child's pinwheel. This luster is amazing, and looks like it could spin right off the surfaces and go flying through the air! Finally, this is a purely original coin, with almond-white surfaces that are beautifully tinged at the margins in tasteful honey accents. An absolutely spectacular, superb gem!
