Lot Title:
Two 1851 ANACS XF-40.
Description:
Both are graded the same (XF-40) by ANACS, and this presumably takes into account a light cleaning of each. One coin has slightly more detail than the other, but probably bears a "silent net grade" due to a sizable scrape in front of the coronet. Two coin lot.

Rather lacking in luster for the grade, but as always, the distinctive "off-center portrait" of these early issues lends interest to the coin's appearance. The "A" in STATES is defective, as it is on... |
