Lot Title:
|
1876 MS-61.
|
Description:
|
Creamy luster spins around the surfaces of this fully Uncirculated example. Scattered soft violet toning on the reverse attests to its originality. A wonderful type example.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Fragile salmon-grey patina has developed over the entire surface, yet does not in any way diminish moderate cameo contrast, called out on the NGC insert. Details are very sharp, but not quite fully... |

1876 and 1876-S Seated Liberty Half Dollars. AU-55.

Both coins are super nice and totally original. The 1876 has attractive russet peripheral toning. |

607 | The Midwest Winter Sale 2007 on 02/09/2007 | $330.00 |
1876 PCGS MS-61.
|
Attractive turquoise toning adorns the peripheries of this tough to find Seated Half Dollar. There are a few marks, but they are not distracting. It is housed in an older green label PCGS holder. |
