Lot Title:
1810 (C-1, R.2) PCGS AU-58.
Description:
One pair of dies, and die-state III based on die crack development. An irregular planchet flake has formed a shallow depression between "S OF" on the reverse. For the crackout specialists, here's a coin that likely needs a proper EAC brushing to remove dull residue on the surfaces and reveal strong underlying luster. That and at least 15% of the remaining original mint red should be enough to get a commercial BU grade. Neither side displays any evidence of abrasions that must be blamed on circulation, and the overall eye-appeal is that of a "commercial unc".
