(About The Images)
1807 "50 over 20" (O-112, R.1) VF, 1808 (O-107a, R.2) XF, and 1809 (O-106, R.3) XF. 1807 "50 over 20" (O-112, R.1) VF, 1808 (O-107a, R.2) XF, and 1809 (O-106, R.3) XF.
Lot Title: 1807 "50 over 20" (O-112, R.1) VF, 1808 (O-107a, R.2) XF, and 1809 (O-106, R.3) XF.
Description: Individual traits differ among this trio of bust half-dollars, and thus they might not match up ideally for inclusion in a date set. But being earlier pieces with finer details, many bidders will find an opportunity here to upgrade or build up stock for future trades. Dates listed with attributions and grades include: 1807 O-112 "50/20" (VF), 1808 O-107a (XF), and 1809 O-106 (XF). The 1807 displays pleasing contrast between dove-grey fields and ivory-grey devices, 1808 has significant luster and better detail than usual in the eagle's wings, and 1809 has remnants of luster as well, and may be close to AU. These all seem to be reasonably original examples in this three coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
