Lot Title:
Four Barber quarters.
Description:
Twentieth-century Barber quarters join up in this grouping, with each displaying odd surfaces indicative of cleaning, with subsequent toning that is not all that attractive in each case. Dates include: 1905-S (AU/questionable color), 1907 (AU/cleaned), 1907-S (XF/obverse severely cleaned), and 1908-S (AU/cleaned). This last is likely the best of these coins since most of the hairlines seem to be slide marks, and the toning is not all that offensive. Four coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
