Lot Title:
Twenty Morgan dollars.
Description:
Whereas one coin grades at least AU-55, the majority of these fall between upper VF and lower XF, with signs of dipped surfaces in evidence here and there. These are all San Francisco dollars, with counts broken down as follows: 6x 1883-S, 4x 1884-S, 5x 1885-S, and 5x 1886-S. Shrewd bidders will recognize these as Morgan dollar issues that are common in low grade, but much better in upper circulated grades. Void where prohibited by law. Twenty coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
